FDA Warns About ‘Deceptive’ Vaginal Rejuvenation Claims

Our practitioners often get asked about vaginal rejuvenation, and if we offer services that will help improve a woman’s “intimate health.” The short answer is no we don’t.

And there are many reasons why we don’t. Like described in this article recently written by NBC News, the laser and ultrasound procedures claiming they improve intimate health – oftentimes do just the opposite.

The FDA says it’s received complaints about burns and other damage. In some cases, the procedures are causing the very pain during intercourse that they are being promoted to relieve.
