Dr. Bannister received her undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas and her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School in Galveston.
Following medical school, Dr. Bannister completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Rochester, Strong Memorial Hospital, as did many of her peers here at Bedford Commons OB-GYN. Dr. Bannister is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is a Fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Bannister grew up in Vienna, Austria where she acquired a love for music, traveling and languages. She and her husband, Dr. Bryan Bannister have participated in several missionary trips to Mexico and Honduras. She and her peer, Dr. Lara Hanlon, have traveled to Ethiopia on a medical mission. The Bannisters and their 3 children live in Manchester and enjoy skiing, hiking, and traveling.
