Coronavirus – An Update From Our Office

March 13, 2020

As the coronavirus situation continues to evolve, we know that it’s top of mind for our patients.  We believe it’s important to share the steps we are taking to keep our patients safe and our office clean.  We are monitoring updates from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) daily for guidance and recommendations and feel committed to adjusting our office practices based on the recommendations.

We are taking preventative measures to keep our office clean and maintain a healthy environment.  Our office is cleaned daily which includes using CDC recommended cleaners on all surfaces and floors.  Our office team members are committed to wiping down exam rooms between each patient.  Every Bedford Commons OBGYN team member will continue to wash their hands using soap and water or an instant soap sanitizer between each patient.

We are working hard to keep team members and patients who feel unwell out of our office.  All of our patients receive a text and email reminder about their appointments and have been asked to cancel their appointment should they have any symptoms.  Anyone with a fever, cough, or flu-like illness should refrain from coming to our office.  If you have these symptoms, please contact our office for recommendations rather than come in for an office visit.

We do not offer testing for COVID-19 in our office and are referring anyone with a fever or respiratory illness to their primary care providers and/or urgent care centers.
